Samsung to release it’s own version of “iTunes”
October 31, 2005
Samsung Electronics, a Korean digital products giant, is seeking to have its own version of iTunes to help push its MP3 player hardware forward. The market for MP3 players is so far dominated by Apple Computer Inc. in many countries, and a large part of that success has been based on the fact that the iPod music players and iTunes music store and tied together. Samsung has noticed the effect this had on iPod sales and now hopes to do the same itself.

“We are now in talks with our partners to debut a service program like iTunes of Apple. Our No. 1 priority is to help customers use our products with ease,” Samsung president Choi Gee-sung said. “Our items show healthy performances in China and Southeast Asian countries where iTunes services are not provided”. Samsung entered the MP3 Player market late but the company has a reputation of taking on big rivals and ultimately beating them.

New PC Virus Inspired by the Avian Flu
October 29, 2005
Don’t be fooled if you see a “What is avian influenza (bird flu)?” message in your inbox.
It might just be a new Trojan Horse (virus) released, named Naiva.A.
Virus writers, forever in search of opportunities to distribute their malicious code, are exploiting interest in the avian flu by circulating an e-mail with an attachment that contains information about the bird flu epidemic–and a Trojan horse tucked inside.
It’s always the best way NOT to download anything from an attachment, unless it is from a trusted friend.
How it Works
The Trojan horse uses two Word macros to run and install a second threat on the computer. The first macro enables the Trojan horse to modify, create, and delete files. The second macro installs Ranky.FY on computers. Ranky.FY allows hackers to gain remote control of infected computers.

It’s a bird..it’s a plane…NO..it’s CASH!
October 29, 2005
Money was flying everywhere…all in the denomination of $USD20 bills, that my friend, was the scenario in Green Bay USA.
It seems that an armoured truck accidentally dropped a money bag containing $80,000,
and it caused a traffic headache, as commuters jumped out of cars, hopped dividers and nearly caused accidents trying to catch the flying cash blowing from the money bag.
$72,000 was recovered was recorvered though……but i wonder what the lucky few are doing with “their” cash now…hmm……
