Tom Cruise Splits With Paramount
August 23, 2006
Tom Cruise and Paramount Pictures have gone their seperate ways and thus ends to their 14-year production deal whereby they have generated theatrical revenues totaling over $2 billion worldwide during the past decade.

Viacom Inc. Chairman Sumner Redstone said Paramount decided to cut off their relationship with the A-List actor due to his recent conducts which has not “been acceptable to Paramount”.
Paula Wagner, the actor’s longtime partner in his movie company, Cruise/Wagner Productions, struck back at Redstone, calling his comments about the three-time Oscar nominee “offensive” and “undignified.”
